PHARMACOVIGILANCE WEEK CONCLUDES AT TANTIA MEDICAL COLLEGE

The National Pharmacovigilance Week, organized jointly by the Departments of Pharmacology and Community Medicine at Dr. S.S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital, and Research Center, has successfully concluded.
As part of the observance, various health-related activities were conducted at Jan Seva Hospital. Based on the theme "Your Safety is Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI", the program saw active participation from MBBS students of the 2023 batch along with faculty members of the Pharmacology and Community Medicine departments.
They worked to raise awareness among the public about Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs). Speakers at the event explained that in the case of any negative reaction to a medication, it is important for healthcare workers, patients, and the general public to report it to the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI). They also discussed several other important facts related to adverse drug reactions.
