Two shoulder arthroscopy surgeries were successfully performed at Jan Sewa Hospital, part of Dr. S.S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre in Sri Ganganagar. The surgeries were conducted by Dr. Manoj Godara.

The first patient, Kailash Devi, a resident of Mahiyanwali village, had been suffering from shoulder pain for the past four to five years due to a rotator cuff tear. Despite seeking treatment in Jaipur and Bikaner, she did not experience any relief. After visiting Jan Sewa Hospital, Dr. Godara diagnosed her condition and performed surgery. Following the procedure, she reported significant improvement and is now feeling well.

The second case involved Gautam Bishnoi from Patroda village, who had been experiencing recurrent shoulder dislocations for about six months. His condition was treated through an arthroscopic Bankart repair—a minimally invasive surgery that uses small incisions and a camera (arthroscope) to reattach the torn labrum and stabilize the shoulder joint. His father, Devdutt Bishnoi, shared that his son is now relieved of the persistent shoulder problem.

Dr. Godara explained that these surgeries are done with minimal incisions and are highly effective in treating shoulder instability. He is currently the only doctor in the Bikaner division performing shoulder arthroscopy and has completed a fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries from Ahmedabad.
