WORLD PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY CELEBRATED AT JAN SEWA HOSPITAL

At Dr. S.S. Tantia Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre (Jan Sewa Hospital), Sri Ganganagar, World Physiotherapy Day was celebrated under the leadership of the Physiotherapy Department.

As part of the celebration, a free physiotherapy camp was organized at the government old age home "Shakuntala Sadan", Khyaliwala. The camp focused on the theme of "Healthy Aging Day," where elderly individuals were educated on how physiotherapy can help manage age-related issues like joint pain and bone disorders.

Dr. Durupti explained that aging often brings bone and joint problems, but regular physiotherapy exercises can provide relief. Dr. Anureet highlighted that improper sitting posture and frequent use of support while moving can lead to pain in the elderly, which can be alleviated through physiotherapy.

Dr. Jaspreet and Dr. Asit also emphasized that many age-related health issues can be addressed through physiotherapy. The event was attended by Project Director Anmol Munjal, Assistant Director Vikas Rangera, Narendra Munjal, Sunil, Vijay Verma, Monu, Aman, and several others.
